The 27th Ciudad de Valencia International, “Trofeo Diputación de Valencia,” will begin next Friday. It has earned the title of the “Oldest Annual Competition in the World.” On Saturday and Sunday, the finals for both the men’s and women’s divisions will take place at the Futvoley España stadium located on Las Arenas beach. The participation of qualifying pairs from the preliminaries and the invited international teams will be key to ensuring that the Valencia audience enjoys the best international Futvoley, as they do every year.

In this edition, standout participants in the men’s category include Canarian Facu Silva and Catalan Miquel Marín, who will defend the title won by Spain in 2023, against the experienced Brazilian pair of Flavio Barros and Jonathan Rodrigues. The well-prepared pairs of Mickey Elías and Daine Morris from the United Kingdom, as well as Mathias Brogliatti and Jonathan Puig from Uruguay, are also notable contenders. In the women’s category, current champion Timea Kapucci from Hungary will defend her title alongside Amanda Leal from Portugal. Other standout pairs include Yosy Silva from Spain and Sara Patricia from Switzerland, and two Brazilian pairs: Joy Wu and Fabiana Costa, and Georgia Cervantes and Marcela Nelson.
